- Here is a recommendation to the filmmakers: Forget about shooting on film. Modern digital is better. DO NOT ADD GRAIN. DO NOT ADD EXCESSIVE TINT. Shoot in 30 (29.97) frames per second. Everybody hates jerkiness of 24 fps on 30 fps TV. Shooting double frame rate (Hobbit) makes the action totally AWES …

- Simple math: A cellphone battery holds over 3 Watt*hour, which is over 10800 Joules. If you charge it (or an equivalent external battery) in 20 seconds, that would be more than 540 Watt. For a 3V battery that's current of 180A. I don't think it's going to work.
